Girls’ Rights Collective UK Unites Professionals to Advance Girls’ Rights and Gender Equity
Girls’ Rights Collective UK, an initiative of Plan International UK, was created to bring together professionals, advocates, and organizations working to advance girls’ rights across the United Kingdom. Recognizing that many individuals in the sector were working toward similar goals but often in isolation, the organization sought a digital community that could foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective action. Hivebrite provided the foundation for a centralized network designed to amplify impact and strengthen connections across the girls’ rights sector.
The challenge
Across the UK, countless professionals and organizations are working to promote gender equity and advance girls’ rights. However, these efforts were often fragmented, limiting opportunities for collaboration, shared learning, and coordinated action.

The organization also wanted to create a sustainable community that balanced member-led engagement with appropriate governance and oversight.
